About the Kinzua Bridge
Kinzua Bridge is a natural wonder that spans the Allegheny River in northwestern Pennsylvania. Built by Andrew Carnegie and opened to traffic on September 15, 1883, it was the first major steel structure in America. The Kinzua Bridge took three years to complete at the cost of $2 million dollars ($51 million today). It measures 3,610 feet long and has two main spans totaling 1,850 feet with an average width of 30 feet.

During the wet season (late spring through early fall), there’s a great chance of seeing some magnificent flows pouring over these falls right before your eyes!
